Popular Lagos prophet, Dr. Chris Okafor of Grace Nation Worldwide has endorsed the incumbent Deputy Governor of Kogi State, Edward Onoja to succeed Governor Yahaya Bello in the next election.
Prophet Okafor, confirming his prophecy on the deputy Governor while on his three days Prophetic, Healing and Deliverance Conference in Lokoja, the State Capital of Kogi State, declared that the next time he will be visiting the state, Edward Onoja would have taken the mantle of leadership in the state.
He Dr Okafor recalled that when he visited the State four years ago, he spoke into the former Chief of Staff in Kogi State, Edward Onoja that when next he visits, promotion will have located him. Interestingly, the prophecy came to pass as Edward Onoja is now the deputy Governor of the State.
The man of God who emphasized on the need for continuity in governance in the state, declared with that when next he will visit the state, Edward Onoja will be the Governor of Kogi State.
However, Edward Onoja, in his remark, thanked the generational prophet of God for bringing such life changing Conference to Lokoja.
Onoja requested that the man of God continue to pray for the State and also for all the leaders in the State to work in line with directives from God in their dealings.
Onoja also recalled that the last visit of Dr Chris Okafor to Kogi State really brought about the changes and testimonies. He said the elevation the man of God prayed for him about then had since manifested because shortly after his visit, he was elevated to the position of the deputy Governor.
The deputy Governor concluded that Dr Chris Okafor’s visits will definitely bring about tremendous changes in the state. He remarked; “I trully believe whatever the man of God declares.”
Earlier at the conference that had over 8,000 people in attendance, the move of prophetic anointing took centre stage with various degree of deliverance as God used his servant, Dr Chris Okafor to visit generational altars and setting the captives free.
It will be recalled that few years ago when Dr Chris Okafor visited Lokoja the Kogi State capital, a dead little girl that was confirmed dead came back to life and after four years the same girl participated in the 2021 Prophetic, Healin and Deliverance Conference. The mother of the little girl testified saying; “Dr Chris Okafor is a man of God that speak the mind of God and hear from God.”
