Nigerian ace musician, Michael Ugochukwu Stephens, popularly known as Ruggedman, has hit out at those criticizing his junior colleague, David Adeleke, professional known as Davido over his recent comment about Nigeria’s economy.
He took to his X page, formerly Twitter and wrote; “Ok Davido has said what he said, moving forward the government should fix Nigeria so nobody will say such again. All this barking all over the place is not fixing the nation. The hardship is too much.”
Recall that Davido had in a podcast interview recently in the US, warned American citizens against considering relocating to Africa, particularly Nigeria, asserting that the country’s economy is in “shambles”.
His statement had drawn attention from some prominent Nigerians who scolded the Afrobeats star. They even demanded that Davido retract his comment.
Just recently, the singer cried out to Nigerians that he has been receiving threats that they will cancel his shows in Nigeria because of his comment.
