Former Akwa Ibom State Governor, Godswill Akpabio who is aspiring to become the next Senate President has cried out to everyone that cares to listen that he is facing war.
Akpabio made the lamentation during a meeting with the All Progressives Congress (APC) Non-Serving Senators Group in Abuja on Tuesday, May 16th, 2023 while he also begged for prayers.
He said; “I am excited that God is keeping all of you alive. This is a family and I am very proud to belong to this family.”
“I want to also appeal that you not only endorse us but support us with your prayers because what I am seeing out there is that it is a war. But I see it as a storm in a teacup.”
However, Akpabio is being tipped to become the Senate President for the 10th National Assembly as the APC has annointed him being from South-South and Senator Barau Jibril (North-West) as the Deputy.
