Kaduna State former governor, Malam Nasir el-Rufai journey to becoming a minister has hit a mountainous rock.
This is coming after the Senate denied him and two others ministerial confirmation.
To add more pepper to his injury, former lawmaker from Kaduna State, Senator Shehu Sani, has, however, warned the Senate against confirming el-Rufai to be minister.
Sani gave the warning on Tuesday, August 8th, 2023 via his twitter page.
He wrote; “The Unconfirmed Ministerial nominee; The Imp who was intoxicated with power, and who arrogantly played God is now at the mercy of those wielding power.”
“A religious extremist with a fanatical political agenda should have no place in the seat of power if that nation desires peace.”
For those who don’t know, the Senate had on Monday, August 7th, 2023 refused to confirm el-Rufai and two others, namely; Senator Abubakar Danladi, a former Deputy Governor of Taraba State and Stella Okotete from Delta State over security issues.
