Nigerian music star, Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy is in big trouble.
Trouble started for the singer after he stormed Cubana Club in Victoria Island, Lagos on Wednesday, June 8th with five police escorts.
We gathered that four of the police escorts waited outside while one, identified as Inspector Ibrahim who was on mufti accompanied the musician into the club.
Burna Boy, according to sources was in the VIP section with three women when he spotted another woman and asked the police escort to invite her to his table.
Sources squealed to us that the lady’s husband got furious over Burna Boy’s advances at his wife but the singer we learnt made fresh moves.
The matter we were told went out of hand as the police escorts shot at club goers.
Be that as it may, the police escorts have been arrested by the Lagos State Police Commissioner’s Special Squad for attempted murder while the police has commenced a probe of Burna Boy over the shooting.
However, speaking on the incident, the Force Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, said; “The personnel are in custody and being investigated for their involvement in the incident.”
“The Inspector-General of Police, Usman Baba condemned the shooting in the strongest terms.”
“The IGP has directed Lagos Commissioner of Police, Abiodun Alabi, to carry out a thorough investigation into the matter and forward his report as urgent as possible for further action.”
