Popular anti-government singer and Jaga Jaga‘ crooner, Eedris Abdulkareem is at it again.

This time, it is not that the singer has released a new song to tackle President Muhammadu Buhari’s government, however, he is reminiscing on his infamous ‘Jaga Jaga’ song where he lambasted the previous government.

He said; “In 2002 I dropped Nigeria Jaga Jaga, and the ex-president came on the National TV and said that boy wey sing that song, na him papa and him family jaga jaga. I was very happy that my message got to the president.”

“I was very happy that the president talked back at me because that means they were listening and today I’ve been vindicated again because Nigeria is still jaga jaga.”

For those who don’t know, the song, ‘Jaga Jaga’ was released in 2002 during former President Olusegun Obasanjo’s regime.

It is interesting to know that the song was banned from radio by the Federal Government.
