Nigerian music star, Harrison Tare Okiri, popularly known as Harrysong, we gathered has been crying like a motherless baby in police detention.
Recall that the singer was arrested by the police on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at the airport on his arrival in Nigeria.
The singer was picked up by the Lagos State Police Command following a petition by music executive, Soso Soberekon to the Inspector General of Police.
Soso Soberekon filed the petition after an interview Harrysong granted recently in which he claimed he (Soso Soberekon) sent some people to kill him in Port Harcourt.
However, the singer is said to have apologised to Soso Soberekon whom he also claimed is his enemy.
We gathered he made the apology at the office of the Lagos State Commissioner of Police on Wednesday, October 12th, 2022.
We also learnt that the singer will be released from police custody any moment from now following his apology to the music executive.
Besides, after much drilling by the police, we were told that Harrysong could not provide any proof to back up his claim.
According to sources, the singer claimed he made the allegation against Soso Soberekon because he was under pressure.
Be that as it may, sources said that the music executive, Soso Soberekon has decided to drop charges against the singer after begging him for mercy.
