Popular Nigerian skitmaker and musician, Lawal Michael Nasiru Bolaji, widely known as Nasboi, has publicly accused a Nigerian police officer of inappropriate conduct.
In a post shared on X (formerly Twitter), Nasboi claimed that a police officer allegedly asked him to transfer money into a SportyBet account, a well-known online betting platform after he informed the officer that he didn’t have any cash on him.
Expressing his frustration, Nasboi wrote; “What the hell is wrong with the Nigeria Police? What? I told you I didn’t have cash, and you asked me to transfer money to your SportyBet account?”
The skitmaker’s statement has since drawn attention on social media, with many Nigerians expressing concern over the increasing reports of police misconduct and unprofessionalism.
As of now, the Nigerian Police Force (NPF) has not issued an official response to the allegation.
