Popular human rights activist, Aisha Yesufu has made a controversial statement, claiming that some Nigerian pastors and imams are being paid by politicians.
She made the claim in a post shared on her verified X account on Monday.
According to her; “Nigerians want to pray their way to good governance! The same prayers that the politicians giving you bad governance are out-praying you on!”
“They even have your religious rulers on their payroll. You bring sadaqah and tithes in thousands they bring theirs in billions.”
