Information reaching us right now has it that RevolutionNow Movement convener, Omoyele Sowore has been shot by a police officer in Abuja.
We gathered that a female police officer fired a teargas canister at him on Monday, May 31, 2021 at Unity Fountain in Abuja where he and others were gathered for a protest.
Be that as it may, Sowore has been rushed to the hospital for medical treatment.
Confirming the incident, Sowore took to his Twitter page and wrote;
“Just been shot by a police officer, ACP Atine at the Unity Fountain in Abuja. #RevolutionNow Let the struggle continue even if they take my life! #BuhariMustGo”
