If the information reaching us has any element of truth, it means that the acclaimed Yoruba freedom fighter, Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho has been arrested.
According to reports, Sunday Igboho was arrested on Monday, July 19th, 2021 in Cotonou, Benin Republic.
We learnt Igboho was nabbed by security forces in Benin Republic at an airport in Cotonou on Monday night.
According to the information we received, we gathered Igboho wanted to flee the country through the neighbouring country before he was intercepted.
A source said Igboho wanted to travel to Germany.
It is interesting to know that Sunday Igboho was recently declared wanted by the Department of State Services (DSS) over alleged activities threatening the co-existence of the nation.
