President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on Thursday departed Abuja to begin his 2025 annual leave, according to an official statement from the State House.
The President is embarking on a working vacation in Europe, which will span 10 working days. During the period, he is expected to spend time in both France and the United Kingdom before returning to Nigeria.
While the trip is part of his scheduled leave, sources indicate that President Tinubu may also use the opportunity to engage in light official duties and informal consultations while abroad.
The announcement was made in a statement signed by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy.
President Tinubu’s departure comes amid a period of ongoing national reforms and international engagements, with the Presidency assuring Nigerians of continuity in governance during his brief absence.
