Tinubu Finally Returns To Nigeria

National leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has finally returned to Nigeria.

Jagaban, as he is fondly called by the party members came back on Friday, October 9th, 2021 after spending almost three months in London, United Kingdom.

Tinubu was reported to have travelled to London for a medical attention.

Before now, he was reported to have undergone knee surgery and that he had physiotherapy sessions to aid his recuperation.

However, Tinubu arrived in Nigeria on Friday and was received by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos at the airport.

Recall that Sanwo-Olu, recently inaugurated the South-West Agenda 2023 (SWAGA ’23).

For those who don’t know, SWAGA’ 23 is political group rooting for Tinubu as the APC presidential candidate for the 2023 election.

According to sources, Tinubu’s arrival in Lagos was unannounced. The source said Tinubu came back two days earlier than his reported plan to return to Nigeria.

However, according to a statement from his media office; “He has returned fully healed from the knee surgery and fully committed to doing his modest part of advancing the cause of progressive democratic good governance throughout our beloved nation.”
