Tinubu Missing As Other Presidential Candidates Sign Peace Accord

The All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu was absent on Thursday, September 29th, 2022 when the presidential candidates of other political parties signed a peace accord ahead of the 2023 elections.

Tinubu was represented by his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima at the event held at the International Conference Centre (ICC), Abuja.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Labour Party (LP), New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) presidential candidates, Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso were all present.

It is interesting to know that the peace accord is organised by the National Peace Committee chaired by former Head of State, General Abdulsalami Abubakar (retd.) and Bishop Matthew Hassan Kukah.

Be that as it may, those in the know squealed to us that the APC presidential candidate (Tinubu) could not attend the meeting because he is currently in London, United Kingdom.
