Tiv Youths Honour Former CRAN President, Sunday Odita

Guardian Newspapers’ big boy and former Crime Reporters Association of Nigeria (CRAN) President, Mr. Sunday Odita has been nominated for an award by Tiv Youth Organization (TYO), Abuja Chapter.

The Organisation revealed this in a letter addressed to the veteran crime reporter on Tuesday, October 24th, 2023.

The letter titled; “Nomination For An Award And Invitation To Attend Tiv Youth Organization (TYO) End Of Year Lecture/Award Night”, reads; “The Tiv Youth Organization (TYO) has nominated you for an Award in recognition of your positive contributions to the development of the Tiv Community, especially in FCT Abuja.”

“The TYO is a duly incorporated youth group since 1988 with branches in all 36 states of Nigeria and the FCT.”

“The organization is committed to celebrating Tiv people and friends of the Tiv nation who have impacted the Tiv nation positively and you have been identified to have met this criterion.”

“This event will also feature a public lecture on an issue of critical concern to Benue State in particular and the country at large.”

“The theme of the lecture is “Internal Displacement; Impact on Food Security, National Security, and Unity.”

“The GUEST SPEAKER at the event will be Prof. Ukertor Gabriel Moti, of the University of Abuja.”

The Award/Lecture will hold on November 25, 2023 at Château De La-ray & Hotel. No.8, Bissau Street, Along Wuse Market Road, Wuse Zone 6, FCT Abuja by 3pm.

Recall that, the current leadership of this noble Organization was inaugurated into office on the 8th of July, 2023, at the National Youth Council, Arts and Culture Complex, Garki-Abuja.

The event will also feature the unveiling of the TYO Abuja International News Magazine.
