Africa’s global bank, United Bank for Africa (UBA) Plc. Chairman, Tony Elumelu (CFR), has congratulated the richest man in Africa, Aliko Dangote on the commissioning of the Dangote Refinery.
He took to his Twitter page on Tuesday, May 23rd, 2023 to commend his friend, Dangote.
He wrote; “Congratulations Alicash @AlikoDangote, on the commissioning of the @DangoteGroup Refinery! #Africapitism the #TOEWay. ✌🏾”
Elumelu who described Dangote as “the king of the boys said; “The project is commendable, it has many positive implications, look around this is almost like a country springing out of this investment, employment will be created. For the first time we produce oil, we refine oil in the country.”
For those who don’t know, Tony Elumelu is also the Chairman of Heirs Holdings, Transcorp and Founder of The Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEF).
