Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG), Joseph Egbunike is dead.
According to information avaible to us, DIG Egbunike, who is in-charge of the Force Criminal Investigations Department, died on Tuesday night, March 8, 2022 after he slmped in his office in Abuja.
Sources squealed to us that before his shocking death, DIG Egbunike was heading the Special Investigation Panel constituted by the Inspector General of Police, Usman Baba to investigate the activities of the suspended head of the Police Intelligence Response Team, Abba Kyari over alleged money laundering.
