The Celestial Church of God, Land of Goshen Cathedral, made the news recently after unveiling popular Nigerian musicians, Pasuma and Portable as guest artistes for its upcoming programme.

However, following the public backlashes that greeted the invitation by the church, the leader of Celestial Church, Olatosho Oshoffa via his Facebook post, declared that Portable and Pasuma would not attend the Ankara/Praise Night concert.

Oshoffa said; “Dear Celestians, I have just spoken to the Shepherd in Charge of the above Parish at length. He has promised to make amendments to the posters.”

“He has promised that the said contested artists would NOT come for the nights. There is no doubt the said poster is very CONDEMNABLE. God bless CCC. Amen.”

Be that as it may, Portable, reacting to the development, said he should not be judged by his looks, insisting that he will perform at the church programme.

He said; “Celestial church we must do the show o, you have already paid me N5 million. Pasuma will perform, I will also perform and we must do it.”

“The children of God are coming. Land of Goshen Cathedral please in God’s name, consider us as children of God. Don’t judge me by my appearance.”
