A feud appears to be brewing between veteran musician, Charles Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy, and former Nigerian lawmaker, Dino Melaye.
The clash began after Charly Boy criticized Melaye for flaunting his wealth on social media.
The controversy escalated following a recent post by Melaye in which he declared, “There’s no one else like me. I’m limited edition.”
In response, Charly Boy took a swipe at the former senator, suggesting he might be battling a mental health issue. “Not all mental illnesses are noticeable,” he remarked.
Melaye fired back in a video shared on Facebook, where he strongly criticized the musician, further intensifying the public spat between the two public figures.
He said: “I heard he has a leaking roof but he has no money to fix it. He places a whole big bike in front of his house like a statue and he doesn’t see that as a show off.”
“He wanted to use my name to gain popularity because his destiny has been thrown inside freezer”.
