Nigerian football club, Wikki Tourists FC players have escaped death by whiskers.
The players alongside their officials were involved in an accident on Thursday morning, February 18th, 2021 as the team bus conveying them went up in flames along Kibo after Jos in Plateau State.
We gathered that the Bauchi-based outfit were on their way to Uyo, Akwa Ibom State for the NPFL matchday 11 against Dakkada FC when the unfortunate incident happened.
Sources squealed to us that the players left their base in Bauchi around 4.30am but the incident occurred some minutes to 7.00am near Jos.
Sources disclosed that the players and the officials are safe as they were not hurt following the accident, but some lost their valuables including bags and phones.
