Afrobeat legend, late Fela Anikulapo Kuti’s daughter, Yeni Kuti has cried out to the world that his younger brother, Seun Kuti did not insult Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State at her 60th birthday ceremony contrary to several reports.
She took to her Twitter page to debunk the reports.
She wrote; “What happened was that the security detail in the course of doing their duty pushed his wife.”
“He got upset at them understandably so, not the governor. He even explained to the governor. I beg o! He has home training.”
However, reports had it that Seun Kuti, the youngest son of Fela caused an uproar recently at his sister’s birthday shindig where he disrespected the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu when he walked into the event with his aides.
Reports revealed that Seun who was angry that the Governor’s security aides pushed his wife, walked out on the governor in anger in the presence of his elder sister, brother and other dignitaries at the occasion.
We were told Seun later returned to event after his elder brother, Femi Kuti had spoken to him
