Popular Nollywood actress, Shaffy Bello, obviously do not want to condone any form of disrespect from anybody, especially from the younger people
The screen star has expressed her displeasure at those that call her by her name. She vented her anger at an interview recently.
She said: “I find it disrespectful when younger people call me by my first name.”
“It is irritating for young people to greet me with a ‘Hi’ and wave at me.”
“Usually my response is simple and I say it with love, I pull them close and I tell them ‘you haven’t earned the right to call me by my name, I have a child as old as you are.”
“Even if I didn’t have children you haven’t earned the right, and you would never earn the right at your age to call me my name.”
