Zamfara Information Commissioner, Dosara Distributes 200 Bags Of Maize To Less Privileged

Zamfara State Commissioner of Information, Alhaji Ibrahim Magaji Dosara will commence the distribution of 200 bags of maize for members of public, particularly the orphans, less privileged and the internally displaced persons (IDPs) in the 10 wards of the local Government Area of Maradun Local Government, in Zamfara State.

The distribution that is aimed at easing the hardship and the increasing cost of living will start next week.

A notice signed on Thursday, September 15th, 2022 by Alhaji Abubakar Ibrahim Maigas Danbaza for the Honourable Commissioner and made available to us reads;

“This is to notify the general public, particularly Maradun local government area of Zamfara state that the Hon Commissioner of information Alh Ibrahim Magaji Dosara will beginning from next week release 200 bags of maize for distribution to members of public, particularly the orphans, less privileged and the internally displaced persons (IDPs) in the 10 wards of the local government area of the state to ease their hardship in the increasing cost of living.”

“The gesture is to complement the efforts of His Excellency the Executive Governor Hon (Dr) Bello Matawalle, Barden Hausa and Shatiman Sokoto in alleviating the sufferings of the people, particularly at the grassroots level.”

“The Hon Commissioner has therefore directed the wards APC chairmen in the local government to liaise with the local government APC Chairman Alh Yakubu Gado and their local councillors to prepare comprehensive list of selected beneficiaries in their respective wards to enable the exercise commence in earnest.
They are to ensure honesty, fairness and sympathy for the targeted bebeficiaries in the selection of the exercise to ensure justice and the realization of the objective of the exercise.”

Designed forms will be distributed for the exercise by members of the distribution committee.
