Less than 5-days after Nollywood actress, Evan Okoro, popularly known as Doctor Maria cried out to the public that her life is in danger, the actress has now taken to her Instagram page to confess that she did what she did just to promote a platform.
The actress also apologised to the Bigo authority for all the troubles she had caused them with her controversial movie, “BIGO MADNESS”.
Hear her; “I want to sincerely apologise to Bigo authority for all the misunderstanding starting from the title of the movie “BIGO MADNESS”. It’s all a misconception and totally not a bad one.”
“I should have consulted with my agency first before filming but because I was too excited to let the world see and know how good BIGO live platform is and how it’s changing lives I didn’t think twice.”
“People around here are making the mistake of judging the book by the cover. I hope to use the movie to make more people know more about it.”
“I hope you read this with utmost understanding sir and understand that I was only trying to bring people’s attention to bigo platform and to make people see that it can change their lives and make them money.”
For those who don’t know, Evan Okoro had few days ago took to her Instagram page to lament that some people want to kill her because of the film she made.
She wrote; “Guys my life is in danger, I don’t think I’m safe anymore, they want to kill me because of the movie that I produced tittle BIGO MADNESS.”
“They ask me to pull down the movie or they will end my life, that they don’t want the app to go viral…. please I need help, am at the police station right now, scared of going back home.”
“Alot of people are saying that I should pull down my BIGO MADNESS, please see my reason why I’m not going to pull it down.”
“I was accused of shooting a misleading content, which is not true, they wrote to bigo authority that I’m trying to tarnish their image, which is also not true.”
“So pulling down the movie right now is like throwing away my evidence.”
