Reports reaching us have it that the factional leader of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Tajudeen Baruwa, has been arrested by the police after leading members of his faction to take over the union’s national secretariat from Musiliu Akinsaya, popularly known as MC Oluomo
Baruwa’s move followed a ruling by the National Industrial Court, delivered on March 12, which ordered MC Oluomo to vacate the office of National President of the NURTW and directed that Baruwa take over the affairs of the union.
