Self-proclaimed relationship guru, Blessing CEO, has found herself at the center of a storm after claims that she fabricated a stage 4 breast cancer diagnosis. But the real shocker? The woman whose medical records were allegedly manipulated has finally broken her silence.
Deborah Mbara, a make-up artist and cancer survivor, shared her side in a revealing Instagram video. Her words paint a chilling picture of deceit and betrayal.
“Last year, Blessing CEO came to Asaba, and I was hired as her makeup artist,” Deborah began. “Fast forward to last week, she broke down, crying that she had cancer and shockingly, she even started selling off her properties.”
What happened next is the stuff of drama. A concerned friend reached out to Blessing CEO, and they brought a doctor into the conversation to educate and encourage her. Deborah, drawing from her own painful journey through cancer, offered her support.
“She asked me, ‘Zazi, can you send me your diagnosis report so I can compare it with my doctor’s?’ I trusted her. I thought I was helping someone in need,” Deborah said, her voice heavy with disbelief.
But then came the betrayal. “I saw it on the Internet my own medical report had been doctored. It was being used to validate her lies and solicit donations. Everything I shared in trust was weaponized against me.”
The deceit didn’t end there. “She claimed she didn’t know me or my family, yet she was in Asaba on Monday, begging my husband and relatives. My husband demanded a public apology and a confession of the truth on social media,” Deborah revealed.
“I thought I was helping someone in need, not knowing she had a sinister agenda. This… this is evil,” she concluded.
