Popular Ibadan hotelier, Chief Francis Aigbeni owner of D’Rovans Hotel died of stroke at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan on Saturday, 7th May 2016.
Family members squealed to us that the Edo State born businessman had been battling partial stroke for some time now before he finally died. It is interesting to know that his D’Rovans Hotel has been rebranded Wallan Hotel, Moshood Abiola Way (Ring Road), Ibadan. Many people will remember him as a man who did his best to uplift boxing in Nigeria.
