KADIFF Founder, Audu Israel Visits Senator Mohammed Onawo

The Founder of Kaduna International Film Festival (KADIFF) and Vice Chairman, Nigeria Film Festivals Association, Audu Kashim Israel, has paid a courtesy visit to Senator Mohammed Ogoshi Onawo, representing Nassarawa South Senatorial district and Chairman, Senate Committee on Arts, Culture & Creative Economy, and Deputy Chairman, National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI).

The meeting was to congratulate him on his recent appointment as Chairman, Senate Committee on Arts, Culture and Creative Economy, and also to discuss Senate interventions on funding and support opportunities for the creative industry in northern Nigeria and film festivals in Nigeria.

Sen. Mohammed, assured the KADIFF founder of his support for the art and creative industry in Nigeria as the Chairman Senate Committee on Arts, Culture and Creative Economy.

He said; “I will ensure there is more budgetary allocation for the film industry and film festivals are organized in Nigeria.”
