The presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi has taken a swipe at the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
According to Peter Obi no serious leader would go and rest in Nigeria.
He said: “People who want to rest can go and relax. I am not resting because I have to visit schools and hospitals and interact with people.”
“No serious leader will go and rest in Nigeria. We will continue to visit as many people as possible and support them as best we can.”
For those who don’t know, Tinubu, finally returned to Nigeria after he took out time to rest in Europe following the February and March elections respectively.
Tinubu, after a vacation that lasted for about one month returned on Monday, April 24th, 2023.
