The sudden death of popular Afrofuji singer Afeez Adeshina, popularly known as Destiny Boy, has shocked many Nigerians, raising questions about the circumstances surrounding the passing of the young and promising musician.
The news of his death was confirmed on Sunday, January 18, 2025, following the circulation of a video showing his lifeless body on social media.
Destiny Boy, died at the age of 22, and his remains have reportedly been taken to Abeokuta, Ogun State, for burial.
He rose to fame in 2019 after his Afrofuji cover of Davido’s hit song “If.”
