Ifeajika Calls on APC Members in Illah to Embrace E-Registration, Voter Enrolment

Members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Illah, Oshimili North Local Government Area, and other parts of Delta State have been urged to actively participate in the party’s ongoing electronic membership registration to strengthen its grassroots base and ensure bona fide membership.

The call was made by the Executive Assistant to the Governor on Public Enlightenment, Projects and Policies, Mr. Olisa Ifeajika, during a New Year party he hosted alongside his wife, Mrs. Nerissa Olisa Ifeajika, for APC members in Unit 17, Ward 3, Illah.

Addressing party faithful at the event, Mr. Ifeajika also encouraged eligible residents who have attained the age of 18 to take advantage of the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise being conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), stressing that voter registration is critical to effective participation in the nation’s democratic process.

He explained that the gathering was organized to thank God for the preservation of lives of the people of Ward 3 throughout 2025 and to appreciate their steadfast loyalty to the APC following their defection from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Mr. Ifeajika assured the party members that the administrations of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, would continue to deliver meaningful dividends of democracy to Nigerians.

In her remarks, Mrs. Nerissa Olisa Ifeajika noted that the New Year party has become an annual tradition, reaffirming the APC’s commitment to purposeful and people-oriented leadership.

She emphasized that the party would not relent in its efforts to improve the welfare of citizens.

As part of the event, Mrs. Ifeajika distributed bags of rice and other cooking items to 96 women from Illah and pledged sustained engagement and fellowship with them.

The men who attended the event also participated in the celebrations, adding to the convivial atmosphere.

Some of the beneficiaries, including non-indigenes residing in Illah, expressed gratitude to Mr. and Mrs. Ifeajika for their consistent show of solidarity and support.

They pledged their unwavering loyalty to the APC and reaffirmed their support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.
