Famous Nigerian dancer, Kafayat Oluwatoyin Shafau, popularly known as Kaffy, has expressed her frustration, lamenting that men don’t want to marry her because she is a single mother.
The 45years old dancer made the touching revelation in an interview recently.
She said; “I have had somebody tell me because I’m a single mother he can’t even think of dating me because I have two children… What makes you think that a woman that has been divorced is not even the better candidate if she had worked on herself? What’s the guarantee that two single people today are not going to be divorced people tomorrow?”
“Why are people insisting on marrying someone fresh? But both of you are going into the same data that the world has computed for you that over 70 per cent of marriages crash. You are part of the 70 per cent.”
For those who don’t know, we can tell you for free that Kaffy got married in 2015 to P-Square’s music director and drummer, Joseph Ameh. The couple divorced in January 2022 after 5years of marriage. Their marriage produced two children.
