Popular Nigerian singer and Mavin Records boss, Don Jazzy, has had one of his best-kept secrets revealed by his former associate, Abisagboola Oluseun John, popularly known as Bankulli (a.k.a. Osha).
Bankulli, made the revelation at a recent event, claiming that Don Jazzy once evaded the law during his time in the UK.
He said; “I refused to include a particular story about Don Jazzy in the Afrobeats documentary. Back then, Don Jazzy was just trying to survive in London. He had an accident his car was completely wrecked. After the crash, he abandoned the vehicle, removed the plate number, and fled.”
“He was returning from a show when he fell asleep while driving and crashed the car. He left it behind because the cost of towing it away was higher than the cost of repairing it. But look at Jazzy today he now has a fleet of cars.”
