Popular Nigerian singer, Adekunle Kosoko, widely known as Adekunle Gold, has addressed recent rumours circulating online regarding his health.
The speculation began after a post on X (formerly Twitter) claimed that the artist had undergone a bone marrow transplant.
The tweet read; “Yes, he has, but since he’s had a bone marrow transplant, I don’t think it affects him that much anymore.”
In a swift response, Adekunle Gold refuted the claim, expressing frustration over the spread of misinformation.
He wrote: “It is how you people will just say things you don’t even know with so much confidence. No, I haven’t had a bone marrow transplant.”
For context, the singer publicly revealed in 2022 that he lives with sickle cell anaemia – a personal detail he shared in his song “5 Star.” The track gave fans a deeper insight into his journey and health challenges.
