Gov. Matawalle Records Another Giant Stride As Zamfara International Conference Center Sets For Commissioning

As part of the developmental strides of the people’s Governor, His Excellency, Hon. Dr. Bello Muhammad Matawalle (MON), Governor of Zamfara State, the ultramodern state of the art International Conference Center at JB Yakubu Secretariat, Gusua is near completion.

During an unscheduled visitation and inspection of the edifice that can accommodate over 2,000 people, the Honorable Commissioner of Works and Transport in Zamfara State, Rabiu Garba Gusau said; “it is part of Governor’s efforts at creating befitting infrastructures in the state.”

“The visit is carried in other to assess the level, quality and progress of the project. Contractors handling it should ensure that the project is completed in due time.”

Sources squealed to us that the beautiful edifice in the heart of the state capital Gusua is near completion and will be opened for public usage.

Upon taking the mantle of leadership as the Executive Governor of Zamfara State on the 29th of May 2019, Dr. Bello Muhammad Matawalle did not waste time in indicating his interest and passion in transforming the economy of the state and creating a conducive atmosphere for investment, business development and partnerships for the state and prospective foreign and local investors.

Governor Matawalle swung into action, setting machineries in motion to enable him achieve his vision, by quickly establishing the Investment and Public Private Partnership Directorate.

The vision and investment ideas of the Governor is yielding the desired fruit as the Investment Directorate has become very busy attracting various investments to the state as well as investing the resources of Zamfara State in profitable Real Estate investments in the Capital City of Nigeria, Abuja and Kaduna, that serves as the Headquarters of Northwestern region.

With this new International Conference Center, in the heart of Gusua, the state capital, Governor Matawalle is is working and has promised to do more.
