Victor Osimhen, the Super Eagles striker currently playing for Galatasaray, has reportedly come under scrutiny following allegations involving German automaker Mercedes-Benz.

According to reports, the company has filed a complaint with the Italian Carabinieri, accusing the striker of failing to complete payments on a leased vehicle. The car was reportedly acquired in 2023 during his time at Napoli FC.
Sources claim that Osimhen neither finalized the purchase nor returned the vehicle, resulting in an alleged debt of €90,000 (₦142 million).
The situation has sparked public interest, particularly given Osimhen’s high earnings and well-known affinity for luxury cars. However, the player has yet to respond to the allegations.
